My name is Miikeyy J and I grew up in Southeast Queens. I was always the kid with the biggest dreams. I started high school at a pretty young age. It caused me to face life earlier than most. The whole overwhelming aspect of high school catapulted me to a state depression and anxiety. Being in those depressed or anxious moments really tested my strength which is why I started Malosi Apparel.

I started this brand in the summer of 2021, August 7, 20201 to be exact. I started it two years after my Uncle Shawns' passing. He was a super strong man who always loved to sing and cut hair. No matter what he was facing he still smiled and sang. He was someone who always wanted to see the best for me and my future. He was the one person who would sit and listen to my little boy dreams. I know that he's super proud seeing what I have accomplished. I love you Unc, this one is for you.
